Citric Acid, Monohydrate, Crystalline Powder, USP is used as thrombin inhibitor and fungicide in pharmaceutical preparations. It is a weak organic acid and natural antioxidant preservative. It also plays a more active role by acting as a chelating agent to bind trace metals. Citric Acid, Monohydrate, Granular, FCC is widely used as acidity regulator and preservative in food production and as an acidity regulator and antioxidant in beverages.
